AMN - CONFERENCE: Junior mining opportunities for investors

Local and international investors are invited to explore the new and emerging opportunities in the junior resources sector at next month’s Mines and Money Australia, which is part of the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) in Melbourne.

Leading junior miners S2 Resources, Panoramic Resources, VIMY Resources, Northern Shield Resources, MATSA Resources, Peak Resources, Stavely Minerals, Centrex Metals, Galileo Resources, DGR Global, Hills Equity and Rum Jungle Resources will be showcasing their projects to potential investors on the exhibition floor within the dedicated Mining Hub precinct.

Many of these companies will also be under the spotlight within the Mines and Money Australia Conference program on November 8 and 9.

Complimentary passes are available for buy-side investors to attend IMARC. These passes can be claimed online at http://imarcmelbourne.com/minesandmoney/

IMARC event director Anita Richards said international and local fund managers, institutional investors and many retail investors have confirmed their participation.

“This year’s conference comes amid renewed confidence in the junior resources sector. Some commentators believe the market has hit the bottom of the cycle and that commodity prices will continue to climb,” she said.

“During the past 12 months, we’ve seen the share prices of some junior miners, such as Northern Shield Resources, soar by up to 700%, demonstrating the market turn around. This is being reflected by the number of investors registered to attend IMARC.

“This will be a great opportunity for investors to see the latest market opportunities as the Mining Hub will include round table discussions between junior miners and potential investors.”

IMARC 2016 will unite the global mining industry in Australia, bringing together more than 2,500 delegates from all aspects of the mining value chain worldwide.

Over the four-day conference, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from over 150 speakers from around the world, covering topics including investment, technology and innovation, safety and sustainability, policy and framework.

IMARC 2016 will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7-10 November.
